President & CEO
As President & CEO of AD1 Global since its founding in 2008, Daniel has over 10 years of experience in real estate investments. His range of expertise includes all real estate property classes including multi-family buildings, hotel ownership, and developments. He's responsible for firm-wide management, strategic planning, and overseeing all operations that lead the company to continual expansion and growth. Daniel received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (BBA) from the Irvine School of Business (University of California), and has a designation from Trump University in Real Estate Investments and Advanced Finance.
Executive Vice President
Executive Vice President of AD1 Global since 2008, Arie is responsible for sourcing and analyzing all potential investment opportunities, as well negotiating and closing deals. As the acquisition portfolio manager, he also oversees the entire process involved in acquiring and purchasing a property, including the research effort. In addition to these responsibilities, he is also actively involved in the asset management of several of the commercial properties. Resourceful and creative in implementing cost-effective strategies and solutions under pressure, Arie’s unwavering commitment to quality and efficiency are incomparable. Arie received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (BBA) from Santa Maria University and an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from the Institute of New Professions, both located in Caracas, Venezuela.
CFO & Treasurer
Alex joined the firm in 2009 and has served as the company’s CFO & treasurer ever since. Skilled in all things numbers and mathematics, Alex oversees every financial aspect of the company’s operations and management. His expertise coupled with his vast knowledge of the hospitality business make him an invaluable asset. Involved in the production of investment packages and the administration of client investments, his efforts lead the company to continual success. Prior to AD1 Global, Alex worked for Marriott Hotels in controller and operations positions. Alex attended Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina where he majored in Finance.
VP of Acquisitions
As VP of Acquisitions and Real Estate Operations, Gisela is responsible for overseeing and handling the company's daily operations, acquisitions, and property negotiations. She also coordinates project renovations for acquired properties and assists in other administrative duties. Her areas of expertise range from inspecting and analyzing potential acquisitions, to evaluating the viability and cost-effectiveness of construction projects. Gisela joined the company in 2011 and has since become an invaluable asset to the team. Prior to AD1 Global, she was involved in several construction projects and managed operations for developers and commercial properties in Venezuela. Gisela received her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Andres Bello Catholic University in Venezuela.
Corporate Director of Business Development
Andres is our Corporate Director of Business Development. He has vast experience working with a variety of national and international companies, including investment funds, public and private-traded companies, and diverse real estate endeavors. As an attorney, Andres formerly handled merger and acquisition transactions as well as financial re-structuring. He’s been actively involved in several real estate and hospitality investment projects in the United States, amounting to more than $400 million. Andres holds a Master of Laws Degree (LLM) and a Graduate Certificate in the Business of Entertainment from the University of Southern California as well as of Business Studies from UCLA, and a Juris Doctor’s Degree from Diego Portales University in Chile. He holds a Masters of Law (LLM) Degree and a Certificate in the Business of Entertainment from the University of Southern California and Business Studies from UCLA. He also holds his Juris Doctor’s Degree from Diego Portales University in Chile.
Senior Corporate VP of Hotel Operations
As Vice President of Operations, With more than 20 years of experience in hotel management and operations, Daniel is responsible for providing corporate support and leadership to all AD1 Global properties. He’s also responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all hotel operations are carried out professionally in accordance with brand standards and with the highest level of service and guest satisfaction, all while considering the financial impacts of such decisions and operations. Other responsibilities include strengthening hotel operations and developing long-term financial plans and goals. He also provides operational integrity guidance and guest relation strategy. Prior to joining AD1, Daniel served as Regional Vice President for Davidson Hotels and Resorts as well as other brand hotels such as Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. Daniel obtained his bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts and Sciences at Queens College, CUNY in New York.
Regional Director of Hotel Operations
As the Regional Director of Hotel Operations, David is responsible for leading and overseeing all of the Southern properties managed by AD1 Global. With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, David has worked with numerous brands such as Marriott, IHG, and Hyatt. He also has experience with hotel conversions, new builds, and acquisitions. Prior to joining AD1 Global in 2018, David held several positions in the industry, including Area General Manager, Multi-Unit General Manager, and F&B Manager. David’s successful background in operations combined with his team-building skills and his passion for hospitality have quickly made him an integral member of the team.
Regional Director of Hotel Operations
As the Regional Director of Hotel Operations Jeff is responsible for leading and overseeing all of the Orlando properties managed by AD1 Global. Jeff has been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years and began in New York City at the 1,850 room Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers. Jeff has experience with IHG, Starwood, Hilton and Radisson, as well as Independent properties. Jeff is a licensed CAM in the State of Florida and has recently been recognized as one of 37 GM’s to Watch in 2018 by the industry leading Hotel Management Magazine. Jeff was also recently honored with a nomination for GM of the year through AHLA. Jeff is very active as a Board Member on the (CFHLA) Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association and currently serves as a Board of Director’s Member with Skal Orlando. Jeff holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence Rhode Island.
Steven joined AD1 Global as General Counsel in the fall of 2018. Steven has more than 20 years of legal experience, practicing in both law firm settings and in various in-house legal positions. Steven’s legal experience includes areas such as tax, finance, regulatory matters, general corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, finance matters, litigation management, marketing, real estate intellectual property and consumer products and personal matters. Steven received a B.A. (Finance) degree from Florida Atlantic University (Boca Raton, FL), received a J.D. degree from Stetson University College of Law (St. Petersburg, FL) and received an LL.M. (Tax) from New York University School of Law (New York, New York).
Corporate VP of Global Sales
Rene is a consummate and seasoned executive with more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry. He’s responsible for overseeing all sales and marketing activities and systems, including designing strategies and defining processes to meet the company’s goals. Rene has a reputation for delivering exceptional and cost-effective solutions to meet challenging business demands. Prior to AD1 Global, he held high-level positions in several hotels including the Lake Buena Vista Resort Hotel, the Holiday Inn Maingate East, America's Best Inn, the Ramada Plaza JFK Hotel, the Wyndham Philadelphia – Mount Laurel Hotel, and the Hilton New York JFK Airport Hotel. Rene earned his Associates Degree in Hotel Management at Katharine Gibbs College in New York, NY.
Corporate Director of E-commerce & Marketing
As AD1 Global’s Director of E-Commerce and Marketing, Jon oversees the digital marketing, public relations, social media, and promotional activities for each property. He’s responsible for developing and carrying out the company’s digital marketing plans, as well as ensuring that the hotels stay up-to-date with technology. A senior marketing executive with more than 17 years of experience, his range of expertise includes E-commerce, advertising, public relations, SEO/SEM, social and email marketing, branding, mobile, big data and analytics. Prior to AD1 Global, Jon was Corporate Director of E-Commerce and Marketing for Paramount Hospitality Management in Orlando and has held various executive roles in the gaming industry. He received his Public Affairs degree from the Defense Information School in Ft. Meade, Maryland, and his bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Air University (College of the Air Force) in Minot, North Dakota.
Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing
As Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing, Adam is responsible to oversee the sales and marketing efforts for all AD1 Global properties. He works very closely with our on property sales leaders to ensure we are consistently increasing sales and driving RevPAR growth. Adam has extensive background in the field with more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry including experience with Marriott, Starwood, Hilton, Hyatt, Accor and Wyndham. Prior to joining AD1 Global, Adam was most recently Director of Sales & Marketing for TPG and several Sales roles with Davidson Hotels & Resorts. Adam earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.
Regional Director of Sales
As the Regional Director of Sales, Biljana primarily focuses on the Central Florida Market. With over 15 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry, she’s worked as a senior level executive for companies such as Aimbridge Hospitality and LBA Hospitality, where she managed full-service and select-service hotel portfolios from nationally-recognized brands like Marriott, Hyatt, Starwood, and IHG. She’s responsible for overseeing the company’s regional sales team, as well as defining sales strategies and providing market analysis. Biljana received her Legal Studies degree from the University of Central Florida.
Corporate VP of Human Resources
As VP of Human Resources at AD1 Global, Bertha primarily oversees staff employment, benefits and employee relations. She is also responsible for managing and ensuring institutional compliance in all areas of Human Resources for all AD1’s Hospitality properties. Bertha has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and was previously the Corporate Director for Human Resources and Risk Management at Paramount Hospitality Management. Her experience includes a variety of essential skills and training, such as Immigration Law, Violence in the Workplace, Cross Cultural Counseling and Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Bertha earned a bachelor’s degree in Education at the National University of Honduras.
IT Project Manager
Ariadna is an experienced IT professional who excels in all aspects of the IT world. Supervising and overseeing the implementation of technology at each hotel, she’s responsible for defining and updating the technological infrastructure of our properties according to each individual brand’s standards. Additionally, she ensures the timeliness of project budgets and on-spec project completions. A professional systems engineer, she graduated from the University of Los Andes in Colombia, and later went on to obtain a Masters Degree in Software Project Management from Andres Bello University in Venezuela. Prior to joining the AD1 Global in 2013, Ariadna worked as a regional IT project manager at Johnson & Johnson Medical & Devices Diagnostic Group in Venezuela, where she managed large multi-functional projects.
Corporate Senior Revenue Manager
With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, John’s revenue management strategy focuses on identifying early trends and maximizing those opportunities according to each hotel’s needs while taking into consideration local demand opportunities. Prior to joining AD1 Global, John held a variety of management positions for several hotels, including the Country Inn and Suites Orlando, the Hyatt Place Tampa, the Homewood Suites Tampa-Brandon, and the Fairfield Inn & Suites Tampa-Brandon, as well as the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL. John received his Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Purdue University in Indiana. Prior to AD1 GLOBAL he served a variety of management positions for several companies including Country Inn and Suites- Orlando, FL ; Hyatt Place – Tampa, FL ; Homewood Suites by Hilton – Tampa / Brandon hotel ; Fairfield Inn & Suites Tampa Brandon, FL and Walt Disney World Resort – Orlando, Fl. John earned his Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management at Purdue University- West Lafayette, IN.
Constanza serves as the Asset Manager for AD1 Global. She has a Bachelors in Hospitality Administration from Boston University & a minor in International Business. Prior to joining AD1 GLOBAL, Constanza worked with Starwood Hotels and Resorts across multiple departments and brands and also served one year as a Revenue Analyst for Starwood Hotels & Resorts in New York. She is responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly property performance reviews & reports for many different projects and assists in the process of budgets, revenue, sales strategies and performance analysis.
MARIA ISABEL MONTILLA
Corporate VP of Finance & Accounting
Maria is the VP of Finance & Accounting. She oversees and handles the company’s financial planning, debt, and budget management functions. She joined the AD1 team in 2014 after working numerous years in the public finance sector in her native Venezuela. Prior to AD1, Maria was the Strategic Planning Manager at Sudeban, the senior regulatory entity of a Venezuelan bank division. She also worked as an Administrative Manager in the bank’s trade and commerce department (Bancoex). Maria graduated from the Andres Bello Catholic University in Venezuela with a master’s degree in Finance.

Elaina Marruquin is a Hospitality Accounting professional with 20 years of experience in Hotel, Destination Resort, and Food & Beverage management. Elaina currently serves as the Corporate Director of Accounting and Finance for AD1 Global.

Scott leads the financials and accounting operations at AD1 Global. He’s in charge of financial management, reporting, strategic planning, and debt. Scott plays a key role in analyzing, planning, and leading other departments to achieve the company’s goals. His diverse skill sets have permitted him to flourish and succeed in a variety of industries. Prior to joining AD1 Global, he worked at the Grand Seas Resort in Daytona Beach, FL as a Controller; Align Mark, Inc. in Maitland, FL as an Accounting Manager/Technical Support; Blue Tree Resort and Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Lake Buena Vista, FL. Scott received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting from the Florida Metropolitan University (formerly Orlando College) in Orlando, FL.
Brand Standards Manager
Richard Pazmino has more than 20 years of general management experience in the hospitality industry. At AD1 Global, Richard is responsible for overseeing multiple hotel projects as well as ensuring that quality and brand standards are met. He facilitates proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data as well as reviewing current standards and policies. Richard has previously held general manager positions at several hotels, including Hampton Inn, Ramada, Holiday Inn, and Hilton Garden Inn. He is a Hotel Administrator certified by Intercontinental Hotels Group, and he studied Pre-Engineering at Daytona Community College in Daytona, FL.
As the company’s Operations Manager, Stefania is responsible for the preparation of accounting, marketing and statistical reports. She oversees office inventory and streamlines hotel and timeshare document organization, maximize efficiencies and ensures office productivity. Stefania also oversees corporate social media and enhances marketing outreach and promotes brand recognition.
