BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Daniel Berman. President and CEO.

DANIEL BERMAN

President & CEO

A passionate and dynamic professional with over 10 years of experience in Real Estate Investments who has served as President and partner of AD1GLOBAL since its founding in 2008. Daniel’s range of experience encompasses all real estate property classes including: multifamily buildings, hotel ownership and developments. Recently, he has led AD1 to acquiring, building and managing hotels throughout the United States. He is responsible for firm-wide management, strategic planning and overseeing all operations that lead the company to a continual expansion. Daniel received his BBA (Business Administration) from the Irvine School of Business.

Arie Fridzon. Executive Vice-President.

ARIE FRIDZON

Arie is the Executive Vice President and Partner, who joined AD1 GLOBAL in 2008. Arie is responsible for the sourcing and analysis of all potential investment opportunities, as well as negotiation and closing. He is the portfolio acquisition manager for AD1 GLOBAL and oversees the entire research effort for these offerings. Additionally, he is actively involved in the asset management of several of the commercial properties. Resourceful and creative in implementing solutions with sensitivity to cost, efficiency and deadlines, Arie also maintains uncompromising focus on high quality standards. Arie received his BBA (Business Administration) from Santa Maria University (Caracas, Venezuela)

Alex Fridzon. CFO & Treasurer.

ALEX FRIDZON

CFO & Treasurer

Alex Fridzon is a Partner and has served as Chief Financial Officer as well as Corporate Treasurer since joining the firm in 2009. Alex is the master in all aspects of financial and operational management for the hospitality segment, his financial skills combined with his knowledge of the hospitality business have made possible many of our successes in this business area. He is also involved in the production of investment packages and the administration of customer’s investments . Prior to AD1 Global, Alex worked for Marriot Hotels in controller and operations positions. Alex attended Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina where he majored in Finance.

Gilberto Sanchez. COO & Project Engineer.

Chief Operations Officer

Gilberto Sanchez has served as Chief Operations Officer and Project Engineer for the firm since 2012. He is responsible for hospitality operations, new hospitality investments and development opportunities. Gilberto’s performance and leadership are always oriented to maximize the company’s value. Prior to AD1 GLOBAL Gilberto has held various executive positions such as General Manager and Chief Operating Officer in important Venezuelan companies. He was in charge of overseeing control quality and manufacturing departments.

Gisela Levy. VP of Acquisitions

GISELA LEVY

VP of Acquisitions

As VP of Acquisitions Gisela is responsible for the company’s daily operations, acquisitions, property negotiations and coordinates project renovations for acquired properties. She is an expert at inspecting, analyzing acquisitions and construction projects for viability and efficiency. Gisela joined the company in 2011 and has become an instrumental part of the AD1 Global team.

Gisela received her BS in Civil Engineering from Andres Bello Catholic University in Venezuela. Since then she has been involved in construction projects and management operations for developers and commercial properties.

Bertha Cordoves. Corporate Director of HR.

VP of Hotel Operations

As Vice President of Operations for AD1 Global, Daniel is responsible for providing corporate support and leadership to all AD1 Global managed properties. Dan is ultimately responsible for ensuring that all hotel operations are carried out professionally in accordance with AD1 Global’s brand standards and at the highest level of quality service while also considering the financial impact of such decisions and operations. Daniel has more than 20 years of experience in hotel management and operations, providing excellence in strategic planning as well as motivating team leadership. By focusing on strengthening hotel operations and long term financial planning, Daniel provides operational integrity guidance and satisfaction in guest relation strategy. Prior to joining AD1, Daniel served as Regional Vice President for Davidson Hotels and Resorts as well as other brand hotels such as Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. Daniel achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Arts and Sciences at Queens College C.U.N.Y.

Maria Isabel Montilla. Corporate VP of Finance and Accounting.

MARIA ISABEL MONTILLA

Corporate VP of Finance & Accounting

Maria is the VP of Finance and Accounting. She provides leadership and coordination of AD1 GLOBAL’S financial planning, debt, and budget management functions. Maria is a Venezuelan Economist who graduated in 1992 from “Universidad Catolica Andres Bello”. She also holds a master’s degree in Finance. Maria joined AD1 GLOBAL team in 2014 after working numerous of years in the public Finance field in Venezuela. Prior to AD1 GLOBAL she worked as the Strategic Planning Manager at Sudeban (Venezuelan bank supervision), the maximum regulatory entity of  banks in Venezuela. She also worked as an Administrative Manager in the banks trade and commerce (Venezuelan BANCOEX).

Rene Pereira. VP of Sales and Marketing.

RENE PEREIRA

Corporate VP of Global Sales

Rene is a consummate and seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience in the sales/marketing within the hospitality industry. He is responsible for overseeing all sales activities and systems; including designing strategies and defining processes to achieve AD1 GLOBAL goals. Rene has exceptional record of delivering high-performance and cost-effective solutions to meet challenging business demands that led him to occupy important positions in several hotels prior to working for AD1 such as: Lake Buena Vista Resort Hotel / Holiday inn Maingate East / Americas Best Inn / Ramada Plaza JFK ; Wyndham Hotel – Mt. Laurel, NJ ; Hilton Hotel JFK– New York. Rene earned his Associates Degree in hotel management at Katharine Gibbs College, New York, NY.

Judith Bredy. Corporate Director of Sales.

JUDITH BREDY

Corporate Director of Sales

Judith is a hospitality executive with extensive experience in the industry who has led a successful career with both major and independent hotel companies. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of hotel and resort operations, with an emphasis on properties offering world-class service, sales performance and financial results. Recognized as an individual with great energy, enthusiasm and a passion Judith strives to motivate those around her with a hands-on management style.
Judith has held senior sales roles with several major brands including; Marriott, Wyndham, Sonesta and Ramada. She most recently served as Director of Sales and Marketing at Pullman Miami Airport.

ANDRES SCHACHNER

Corporate Director of Business Development

Andres Schachner is currently working as Director of Business Development. He has vast experience working with national and international companies, including international investment funds, public and private traded companies and diverse real estate endeavors. As an attorney, he handled merger and acquisition transactions with an aggregate value of approximately $300 million as well as financial restructurings in the total amount of approximately $180 million. Mr. Schachner has been actively involved in several real estate and hotel investments in the US, representing total investments of over $400 Million in total value.
He holds a Masters of Law (LLM) Degree and a Certificate in the Business of Entertainment from the University of Southern California and Business Studies from UCLA. He also holds his Juris Doctor’s Degree from Diego Portales University in Chile.

JON McMILLIAN

Corporate Director of E-commerce & Marketing

Jon McMillian is AD1’s Director of E-Commerce and Marketing. Jon oversees all of our hotel’s digital advertising, public relations, social media, email marketing and promotional activities. He is responsible for developing and carrying out our marketing plan. Jon is a senior marketing executive with more than 17 years of experience in E-Commerce, Advertising, Public Relations, SEO/SEM, Social and Email Marketing, Branding, Mobile, Big Data and Analytics. Before AD1 Jon worked in senior marketing roles with billion dollar hospitality companies Columbia Sussex and El Dorado Resorts and as the Corporate Director of E-Commerce and Marketing for Paramount Hospitality Management in Orlando. Jon is a Public Affairs graduate of the Defense Information School, Ft. Meade, MD, and has a degree in Journalism from Air University (College of the Air Force) Minot, ND.

BLANKA DEWAPURA

Corporate Director of Revenue Management

Creative, passionate and a resourceful executive with both operational and business development experience in the hospitality industry. Blanka is an experienced multi-lingual leader with strong organizational skills. With more than 20-year of experience with Hilton Worldwide, and more than 10 years of experience as Regional Director of Revenue Management Blanka’s strength lies in revenue management, sales and marketing and strategic planning; coupled with strong analytical capabilities. She earned a B.A. in Hospitality Management from the Business Academy of Tourism, Czech Republic, and a Revenue Management University diploma from Hilton Hotels Corporation.

Scott Moulton leads the financials and accounting operations at AD1 GLOBAL.
He is in charge of financial management, reporting, strategic planning, and debt. He plays a key role in analyzing, planning and leading other departments to achieve AD1’s strategies. Scott’s diverse skill sets has permitted him to function successfully within multiple industries. Prior to joining AD1 GLOBAL he worked for: Grand Seas Resort, as a Controller / Daytona Beach, FL ; Align Mark, Inc /Accounting Manager/Technical Support / Maitland, FL and Blue Tree Resort/Starwood Hotels & Resorts; Lake Buena Vista, FL. Scott is a graduate of Florida Metropolitan University (formerly Orlando College); with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting.

Bertha Cordoves. Corporate Director of HR.

Corporate Director of Human Resources

As Director of Human Resources at AD1 Global, Bertha primarily oversees staff employment, benefits and employee relations. She is also responsible for managing and ensuring institutional compliance in all areas of Human Resources for all AD1’s Hospitality properties. Bertha has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and was previously the Corporate Director for Human Resources and Risk Management at Paramount Hospitality Management. Her experience includes a variety of essential skills and training, such as Immigration Law, Violence in the Workplace, Cross Cultural Counseling and Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Bertha earned a bachelor’s degree in Education at the National University of Honduras.

John Sterk. Revenue Manager.

John joined AD1 Global after 15 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry. His revenue management practices focus on identifying early trends and maximizing these opportunities deployed specifically against each hotel’s needs, focusing on local demand opportunities.
Prior to AD1 GLOBAL he served a variety of management positions for several companies including Country Inn and Suites- Orlando, FL ; Hyatt Place – Tampa, FL ; Homewood Suites by Hilton – Tampa / Brandon hotel ; Fairfield Inn & Suites Tampa Brandon, FL and Walt Disney World Resort – Orlando, Fl. John earned his Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management at Purdue University- West Lafayette, IN.

Paul Rosemberg. Regional Sales Manager.

PAUL ROSENBERG

Regional Sales Manager

Paul joined AD1 Global’s team with over 30 years in the hotel industry, covering all aspects of Operations, Sales, Revenue Management and Human Resources. He oversees the sales efforts of the company’s Service Brands, ensuring that occupancy numbers, rates and revenue goals for each hotel are met. Prior to join AD1 GLOBAL, Paul worked for a selective group of hospitality brands including Hilton, Marriott, Holiday Inn, Best Western, Choice and Ramada International. Paul earned a BBA in Management at University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Ohio

Ariadna Sanchez. IT Project Manager.

ARIADNA SANCHEZ

IT Project Manager

Ariadna Sanchez is an experienced IT Professional with success leading all phases of diverse technology projects. At AD1 Global she is responsible to achieve on-time, on-budget and on-spec project completions in the Hospitality area. Ariadna is a System Engineer, graduated in 1999 from ULA (Los Andes Univerity) with a Master Degree on Software Project Management Andres Bello University – Venezuela. Prior to joining AD1 Global in 2013 Ariadna worked as a  Regional IT Project Manager at Johnson & Johnson Medical & Devices Diagnostic Group in Venezuela. where she managed a large multi-functional projects.

Richard Pazmino. Brand Standards Manager.

Brand Standards Manager

Richard Pazmino has more than 20 years of general management experience in the hospitality industry. At AD1 Global , Richard is responsible for overseeing multiple hotel projects as well as ensuring that quality and brand standards are met. He facilitates proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data as well as reviewing current standards and policies. Richard has previously worked as general manager at Hampton Inn, Ramada , Holiday Inn, and the Hilton Garden. He is a Hotel Administrator certified by Intercontinental Hotels Group. Richard studied Pre-Engineering at Daytona Community College in Daytona. FL.

STEFANIA BERMAN

Operations Manager

As the company’s Operations Manager, Stefania is responsible for the preparation of management, accounting, marketing and statistics reports. She oversees office inventory and streamlines hotel and timeshare document organization, maximizing efficiencies and ensuring office productivity. Stefania also manages social media campaigns and helps develop strategies with a focus on enhancing marketing outreach.
